A Brit, a Canadian, and a Mexican walked into a Facebook group…

…and instead of arguing, they built a website.

Hi! I’m Charlotte, an English language journalist, and it’s a pleasure to meet you! What started as a casual idea on my personal Facebook page (just sharing a few restaurants offering summer savings) grew overnight into something much larger than I ever expected. Business owners began sending their summer deals in with such rapid regularity that I couldn’t keep up! I asked two friends, Lynsi, a local travel representative and rental agent, and Alberto, a Spanish and English language journalist and creator of Vallarta Voices, for some help, and we agreed that creating this site was the next logical step to be able to help in a bigger, better, bolder way. The goal is for this site to highlight offers from restaurants, bars, coffee shops, tours, shops, and anything else with a real deal in the Bahia de Banderas region, whether seasonal specials, holiday promos, or year‑round bargains. If a business has an offer, we want you to know about it.

We paid 144 MX to get the site off the ground, and we cover the 250 MX/month to keep it live because this community means a lot to us. Everything here is free. It’s free for you to use, and it’s free for businesses to list. We won’t accept freebies or special treatment (outside of the submitted deals you’ll find here that we’re absolutely going to join you in grabbing), but if a vendor insists, we’ll put those items into giveaways on our Facebook page so the community benefits. There’s no pay‑to‑play here. Just three friends trying to give back.

The page is built to be simple and fast. Tabs across the top group deals by price point, so just click the tab you want and start browsing. Each listing includes a Zone number that corresponds with a map, so that you can quickly see where a place is located and decide if it’s convenient for you. Everything is mobile-friendly, so you’ll find what you need in a few taps.

We’d love you to join our Facebook community, too. Post photos, share tips, and tell everyone about your finds. Honest reviews are welcome, but if you run into a problem at a business, please try to resolve it with the owner or manager first. If you’d rather not approach them, reach out to us privately, and we’ll contact the business on your behalf. We want this space to spread a little love for local spots, so let’s keep feedback constructive and kind.
